About the Artist
Karen was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has an art degree from the University of Wisconsin. She taught elementary art in Milwaukee for 3 years before taking on art full time.
Once deciding that art would be her full time passion, she began teaching workshops and doing outdoor shows across the country. In 1968 she moved to Dayton, Ohio where she resides today.
Karen is featured in several current publications and spends her time in Dayton mentoring emerging artists, actively participating in three local galleries and teaching workshops. Karen can be found creating art at her studios on Front Street in Dayton or at her home studio in Kettering.
Karen is now living in Silver Spring, MD, and exhibiting her art in several new galleries and venues.
